There's a lot to like and a lot to dislike about these apartments. Pros: - The location is great (close to mountains and great restaurants.) - Faculty is personable and very responsive to maintenance concerns. - The price is great compared to market average in Denver. Cons: - Tenants can be noisy and don't always respect quiet hours. At one point I'm pretty sure there were a dozen people stuffed into a single unit two doors down from me. - I've had two roach infestations within a year of living here. No other reviews mention this and requesting the exterminators to spray the units directly above/below me is the only thing that's gotten rid of them, so I'm inclined to believe this is an issue with a tenant, rather neglect on the side of maintenance. - Tenants not picking up after their pets (though I've noticed this at every apartment complex and gated community I've lived at or even visited as a guest.) - Air circulation in the units is terrible, and the fans are extremely weak. If you're moving in here, shove a box fan in the window. - The central heating system often heats the unit to 80F even when the thermostat is set to 50F and the windows are wide open. Often the only way to cool down the unit is to close up the windows and crank up the air conditioner. - The entire complex only has two dumpsters, which are horribly unequipped for the number of units it has to support. - Some very minor gripes regarding design choices; small kitchen, poorly lit, countertop pattern makes it hard to spot aforementioned roaches, windows have cracks which can lead to bugs getting in during warmer seasons. Most of these can be fixed with proper furnishings. For me personally, the pros outweigh the cons.
